Lover’s Perspective of the World
from Atomic Truths & Stellar Seeking
A spark! Oh goodness. Something inside igniting. Desire enfolds me in its rocket and I am, blasting off into everything.
Above the earth, sweet pause – a passionate hover – I am larger than large out here, room temperature with the universe: I cannot tell the difference between my skin and secret tides of photons delighting in me.
I look around with divine precision and gazing free upon the earth, I see —
— architects and earthquakes — empaths and robots — fictions and near misses —lives changing, children sleeping, beauty brimming.
I see us — trying on ways of being — so sweet and messy, so worthwhile.
I see shamans drinking mass-market tea in cubicles connecting, hives of mystery – footprints on carpet, shadows in the mall — some kid on a yellow slide, gliding free for the first time – lives overlapping and love persisting — so many ways to be this grace we seek…
When I look from this somewhat magical perspective, I see stories and possibility and love (activated or lurking) — I see life, texture, words becoming sentences and art — the human experience.
